Where to begin? I arrived to the hotel and was pleasantly surprised to have my room ready, yer there was no lift...with two huge suitcases this was a challenge but I was ok at first, just very tired. There are no telephones in the rooms? 3 stars??? Yet not even a phone in the room? Forget no elevator or "lift". I then ask the concierge where the beach was, never having been to St. Maxime before, and she tells me its not close but a drive away.. After a stroll along the port there is clearly a public beach and several beach clubs one could take a chair at.....thanks for ruining my day. I then book my room for another night and say I will pay in cash (which i did and have receipt for) when in fact my credit card was charged, and after 5 days has still not been re-credited. I asked concierge for a nice restaurant to have a quiet dinner just for me, he directed me to Maison Bleu...I went at 7pm, the place was absolutely empty and the woman told me it was not possible for me this evening! At 7pm and one person! With a completely empty restaurant!!!!! I have to say I was so offended I did walk away with tears. Never have I been treated so poorly. After dinner I brought back a little tarte for the old man concierge... I asked him what way was best to reach Cannes in the morning and he said he didn't know.... Ugghhh So in the morning I ask again, his daughter says Le Bus to Frejus....thanks...I couldve taken the ferry and the bus was to St. Raphael.. Did these people hate me or think I was a prostitute? Never in my life have i been treated so horribly. I work in the fashion industry and constantly travel alone for my writing, inspiration, and work. The Hotel Les Palmiers, will only degrade and demean you. Go to Best Western. +Solo American-Francaise Fille

This is a very old hotel, rooms are very broke-down-looking.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, close to everything. It’s right down the street from the church and has a great view of the sea from some of the rooms. the staff is welcoming and friendly, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast has a wide variety of choices.
Some guests have reported that the hotel can be noisy at night due to the proximity to bars and restaurants.

Excellent location in a village of saint maxime.
Unfriendly environment.very old building without any innovation.the rooms hasn't got neither a door in the bathroom . Unfriendly staff without hospitality. They don't offer any assistant to tourism.the hotel seems cheap for it's location but the staff behaviour and the quality of room dosnt meet the price that you pay

The location was very good, as it is in the town centre and within 2 minutes from the beach.
This hotel has a very grubby appearance inside. The stairs going to the rooms are covered with a very grubby carpet. The room had filthy carpet tiles that made your feet black! The room was very smelly and the beds were literally the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on. The WiFi did not work in the room and I specifically wanted a room with WiFi.

Fantastic location, right next to the seafront. The hotel is spacious and very clean and the staff are welcoming and helpful. Lots of nice restaurants nearby and you can take a 15 minute boat trip across to St Tropez for about 10 euros return!

Very well located in St-Maxime.
12 Euro for breakfast, way too expensive considering you get just a croissant and a pain de chocolat. The room where I stayed was not in very good condition. Water leaked from the bath tub making a huge pool of water in the floor. It looked pretty old and worn out.

I couldn't ask for a better hotel close to all the action in town. It's located right in the very center of Sainte-Maxime, making it convenient to explore all the bars and restaurants nearby. The hotel has a French charm to it, with rooms that are so clean and comfortable. The bed was the most comfortable one I've ever slept on, and the balcony was a great addition. The basic amenities were all available, and I particularly enjoyed the pleasant breakfast they served in the morning. Everything was fresh and it really hit the spot.
No improvements needed, everything was just perfect.
